Post-acute Alcohol Withdrawal

Post–acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS) is a constellation of symptoms that presents in individuals with a history of physiological dependence to alcohol that can last for months to years after the acute withdrawal period. In this one-hour webinar, Vanessa Loukas, MSN, FNP-C, CARN-AP will discuss the most common symptoms of PAWS as well as different pharmacological treatments and therapeutic interventions which can manage it. This activity will offer 1 CME credit.
