Managing Alcohol Use Disorder in OUD Treatment Settings

This webinar will examine the clinical implications of alcohol use disorder (AUD) among patients receiving care in opioid treatment programs (OTPs) and office-based opioid use disorder treatment (OBOT) settings. Participants will learn about the epidemiology of AUD in individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) and the impact of this co-occurrence on patient outcomes. The session will also review best practices for screening, diagnosis, and biochemical testing for AUD in patients receiving medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). Finally, the webinar will provide practical, evidence-based strategies for integrating medications for alcohol use disorder (MAUD) into OTP and OBOT settings to support comprehensive, patient-centered care.
