This webinar will explore the emerging role of neuromodulation in the treatment of alcohol use disorder (AUD), highlighting how advances in neuroscience are creating new opportunities to address the brain circuits involved in addiction. Participants will examine the neurobiological foundations of substance use disorders and learn how neuromodulation techniques, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and focused ultrasound, have evolved as treatment modalities with growing applications across a range of conditions. The session will also review current research on the use of these technologies in AUD and discuss their potential integration with other therapeutic approaches to enhance treatment outcomes and support long-term recovery. This training is available for 1 CE credit.
